Koda kumi suki de suki de suki de/Anata Dake ga

Jacket A
Jacket B

Suki de suki de suki de./ Anata Dake ga Is the 48th single of Koda Kumi. For me the covers are ok. No beautiful no bad. But I prefer the Jacket A. On the other she has a bad face.

01- Suki de suki de suki de is a beautiful winter ballad. I really like how the arrangement & instrumental part are well-worked. Usually it’s boring. I really like this song unfortunately the pv is boring. It’s again a kuu love story. She has a lot of these kind of pvs in her discography.

02- Anata Dake ga is the second track &it’s a ballad again. But that one is R&B one. I dislike it a lot. For me she does that kind of songs too often. The level is under the first track. The pv is sad love story but she uses her sister misono to play instead her.

03- Walk~to the future~is the b-side. It’s the third ballad of the single. I really like the “gospel choeur”. This song is really powerful. I wonder why the single don’t called: suki dex3 / walk~to the futur~the pv is boring. We only see Koda Kumi singing on the beach…& love story again. It’s the end of the two other pvs.

AAA PARADISE/Endless Fighters

Jacket A

Jacket B

Jacket C

Jacket D

PARADISE/Endless Fighters is the 26th Single of AAA. The covers are really creative even if all are similar. I like the concept.

01-PARADISE is an upbeat song that is similar to all of their upbeat song of this year & the end of 2009. So it’s a good song but it really really really is not original. I really would like that they make something different because their next album will be really boring with a lot of similar song. That kind of album I can’t listen to it in once time. The pv is really good & different from what they make before. Above all the dance is not present.

02-Endless Fighters is the second track. It’s again an upbeat song but it’s different from the first one even if electro sounds are present again. The song is really good.

03-DEPARTURE is the last song on the single. The song starts slowly & continues with upbeat song. For a b-side it’s really a nice song.

Even if all songs are good, the single is really homogeneous. I’d prefer they add a ballad instead of one of the upbeat song. Too homogeneous is boring.

Alan- Kanashimi wa Yuki ni Nemuru

CDCD+DVD

Kanashimi wa Yuki ni Nemuru is the 14th single of Alan. Lately, I was really disappointed by her last stuff. After Kuon no kawa, the level of her music really went down. I was really surprised by this single.

The covers are ok but I really miss her first covers. They were so creative before. So after I saw the covers I was sceptical about the song.

1. Kanashimi wa Yuki ni Nemuru is really good. It’s the first 2010 Alan song that I enjoy. The song reminds me a song from Anastasia. It’s the only thing I don’t really appreciate about this song because I’m the kind of person who likes original things. This song has a pv but it’s so boring...

2. Namonaki Tane is the b-side. It’s really a pretty song for a b-side. It’s sweet. I really like how powerful is her voice in the chorus. Unfortunately, I know that her voice can be more powerful. I really hope she’ll sing with the ashita e no sanka voice again.

Ayumi Hamasaki-Crossroad

Jacket A
Jacket B
Jacket CIt has been a long time since the last time I wrote an article. I’m sorry but I was really busy with university & friends. I’ll try to continue to post message as often as possible.

I’m going to start with Ayumi Hamasaki 49th single that was out on 22nd September. Yes, I know, I would have to do this earlier.

As usual, I’ll begin with the covers. For this single, we have 3 covers. They’re really simple & magazine’s like. As usual, Ayu surprised me because there is no road or crossroad. For me the covers are ok, even if the MOON/blossom ones were better. My favorite one is the Jacket C.

1. Crossroad is mid temp ballad. We were able to listening to it at Music Station for the first time. This song is really amazing. I can’t find any word to describe it. The lyrics are about her life & the decisions she took in her life. Crossroad is the only song that has a pv. For people who don’t know Ayu, this pv can appear simple, aesthetic but boring. For Ayu fan, this pv is amazing because there is a message behind the simplicity. The pv tells about Ayu’s life. I’ll made another article with the meaning of the pv.

2. SEVEN DAYS WARS is a cover of T.M. Network. It’s the third Ayu cover. The other songs she covered are Sotsugyou Shashin (A ballads) & teens ~accoustic version~ (Satrtin’/Born to be...). I’m really impressive because the song is a mixing of old & current music. We can hear that the style of music come from the end of ’80 but the arrangement updates the song. I really love the choir at the end. This song is really beautiful.

3. blossom (Clockwork yellow remix )is the first remix of the single. For one time, I think it’s a good remix. Maybe because it’s really close to Daft Punk stuff.

4. Blossom (orchestra version) is really nice & sad. The lyrics of blossom are really sad even if the original song sounds happy. I really like that version but not more than the original version.

5. MOON (orchestra version) is really beautiful. I prefer it than blossom (orchestra version). The quality of the arrangement is so high than I can’t choose which one is my favourite between the original one & the orchestra one).

Crossroad is really a good single.
